Anyone visiting Cornwall has a huge choice of wonderful locations to visit. One place that should be high up on the list is the unique Eden Project – located in a reclaimed mining pit near St Blazey. After two and half years of construction, the Eden Project was opened to the public in March 2001 – showcasing unique and diverse attractions, like the worlds largest ‘indoor’ rain forest.
This magnificent project needs an array of technology behind the scenes and subsequently a stable and reliable power source. The sub-stations located around the project are backed up by battery systems maintained by BU Energy Solutions.

Our site contains six 11KV substations which contain essential battery backed-up changeover systems.
These critical systems are serviced and maintained by BU Energy.
